 Nature’s Classroom's Mini Owl Pellet Kit, recommended for grades 5-8, contains a complete Teacher's Instruction Guide and a detailed lesson plan designed to offer a focused study of the owl pellet. A mini owl pellet is approximately 1 inch to 1½ inches in length. This kit includes materials for up to 36 students: 36 mini owl pellets (there is one for each student), 15 Dissection Worksheets (step-by-step process), 15 Bone Identification Charts (for identifying bones and prey species), and 15 Rodent Skeleton Cards (to reconstruct the skeleton of a prey animal). These mini pellets offer the same educational opportunity as other owl pellets at a greatly reduced per pellet price.
